Having a way with words is a virtue. People make careers out of it. It can also be quite amusing. It took me some time to decide if this footage was staged or not.

Moving 2- back with Mom

All our stuff is packed and stored. Until sometimes next week we are quartered in temporary places. I am staying with my mother and sister. I moved out from home a bit more than an year ago because I wanted more freedom. As much as I love my mother, she is just a regular parent. Now for instance I have to go to all my classes. I can't come home piss drunk. I also can't really drink or swear at home, not to mention smoking pot... My mom pretty much knows I do all that, still I'd hate to rub it in her face. So I guess it is more like my courtesy towards her than her discipline, but the result are just the same. It will be good to move back with the boys again!

Moving

We have been unbelievably busy in the last few days. We are moving out of our apartment downtown. I've been living here for only one year, and I thought, that I won't have too much stuff to move... I was wrong! The amount of artifacts that we all accumulated was shocking. All four of us needed at least two cubic meters of boxes and we threw away even more junk. And it's not like we are wealthy people with expensive hobbies, we are poor college students! I actually saw a comedian talking about this modern issue.

Firefox Anime

Just found some very cute anime remakes of the Mozilla Firefox logo. I really like the drawing style of anime.

I just finished reading Foundation's Edge from the one and only Isaac Asimov. All is left now is Foundation and Earth and I am done with the whole Robot/Empire/Foundation series. I am reading them more or less chronologically, though I did mix a few up. I think this is the way that any series ought to be read, or viewed. It would be interesting though to read some of them again in the order of publishing, to see Asimov's style and ideas develop. It was really hard to find all of them in English, the Empire trilogy is not available anywhere, not even on Amazon.com. Fortunately the library down the street from my downtown apartment had them. I found the whole Asimov universe quite fascinating. His characters are pretty cool too, but my favourite part is the logical reasoning that is consistent throughout the novels. You can tell that he was a mainly man of science and then a science fiction writer. We don't read enough SciFi nowadays!

Yesterday morning one of my friends really disappointed me. My landlord and friend have been with his girlfriend for over 2 1/2 years. He is one of the most decent guy I know, but Sunday night some girls we never met before came over and he slept with one of them... He said he just wanted to try what cheating was like.
